Synopsis (Goodreads)
With the local vampire
coven decimated, Julia and Nicholas try to begin a somewhat normal life
together. Bound by secrecy from a shape shifter determined to see
Julia’s world-saving prediction come to fruition, Julia isn’t allowed to
tell Nicholas the leader survived, ransacking her happiness with guilt.
When Alora returns, bent on revenge, the reunion forces Nicholas and
Julia to choose what they are willing to live and die for.

My Take
4 Stars
The
Sapphire Talisman is the second book Bandos' Talisman Trilogy. I
enjoyed this book almost as much as I did the first book, The Emerald
Talisman. I say almost because Phil really started growing on me and I
hoped that maybe Julia would explore a relationship with him, but it
never really happened. That seemed to be somewhat disappointing, but of
course the author wanted Julia to stay true to Nicholas, and I get that.
Nicholas
is pretty much lost in this book, and Phil takes the lead with being
Julia's strength. Phil is awesome in this book! It was definitely hard
to put this book down and walk away. I just had to know what was
happening with Nicholas, if a relationship was going to bloom between
Phil and Julia, if Alora was going to get what she wanted, and many more
questions.
The Sapphire Talisman was a great read and I look forward to reading the last book in this trilogy, The Onyx Talisman.
