This book was so hard to put down!
The Emerald Talisman is the first book in the Talisman trilogy (Sapphire Talisman is book 2, and The Onyx Talisman is book 3). For me, this book was a mix of Twilight, Vampire Diaries, and Blade, which worked for this story. If you like those kinds of books, then you will love The Emerald Talisman.

I really had to convince my self to read this but I wasn't disapointed! The Emerald Talisman was truly an amazing read. The pros include a strong and daring leading lady, who has a knack for getting in and out of tight spots. Julia is an original character with an incredible power that only she knows about.
I'm glad you enjoyed this book, Ceska! The whole trilogy is really good. I've come to realize lately that I really have to be picky about my YA choices because some of them are a little too YA for my taste, but this trilogy was excellent.
